Christopher Clark B.V.Sc (Syd) M.B.A (Macq)

 

Overview – Chris Clark, the founder and Managing Director of Bush Corporate Consulting, is a strategist, who teaches corporate strategy at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management at Macquarie University, Sydney, where he is also the Director of the MBA program.

 

Education: raised and schooled in Sydney, he holds a B.V.Sc from Sydney University, an MBA from Macquarie University, and is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Business Administration, (also at Macquarie University).

 

Corporate background: He has been an academic consultant since the early 1990’s, and his teaching skill was recognised by the award of the Vice Chancellor’s Outstanding Teaching Award in 1999.

Before his academic appointment he held senior marketing appointments in the office equipment (National Marketing Manager – Canon Australia) and Pharmaceutical (National Marketing Manager – Fisons Pharmaceuticals) industries. He was originally a practising veterinarian.

 

Key Competencies – he is an outstanding strategic thinker and facilitator, and an entertaining presenter. His skills in presentation, facilitation and strategic thinking are testified to by his extensive client base. Personal referees from the client base can be provided on request.

 

Personal details – Married with  2 Children, he is in his mid 40’s and lives in Sydney (although he travels frequently). He holds dual British and Australian citizenship. He has international experience from studying (completing his MBA at the Cranfield School of Management, U.K) , consulting (primarily in Asia but also in Europe and the US) and teaching (MBA students in Hong Kong and Singapore)

Outside of work he plays golf, reads, plays with his children, and occasionally appears in amateur dramatic productions.
